Day Break was our selection and the top selling bull at
Marvin Kramer's 2006 bull sale in IL! This very high
performing, powerhouse of a bull gained 5 lbs per day on
a limit fed ration, and ultrasound scanned a whopping
17.4 rib eye! His Pathfinder dam by Deadline comes from
a family that has produced many sale topping bulls for
Kramer's, and she has an impressive production record of
6 birth weight ratios @ 93, 6 nursing ratios @ 104, and
6 yearling ratios at 106! Day Break is a moderate bull
with a ton of rib shape and dimension, expressive muscle
shape to his top and lower quarter, a long clean front
end, and a sound set of feet and legs. With increased
demand for his deceased sire, Boyd New Day, we feel Day
Break will bring a lot to our program and do a lot of
things right! While adding growth and performance,
muscle and fleshing ability to his offspring, his
daughters will be just as valuable based off his
maternal heritage as well. We think very highly of Day
Break and anxiously await his first calf crop in 2007!
